Pest Problems to Watch Out For When it Gets Really Cold

Pest Problems to Watch Out For When it Gets Really Cold

It’s a bitter irony that, right after celebrating the new year, we experience the worst part of it. And make no mistake: the early months of the year are the worst–at least, here in the Midwest. The holidays are over, but winter is just getting started. January is less “dreaming of a white Christmas,” and […]

Prevent Pests from Hibernating in Your Home

Prevent Pests from Hibernating in Your Home

With all the pests you have to worry about year-round, why care about the ones that are hibernating in winter? It seems kind of considerate of them, honestly. The problem is, all those sleeping pests wake up eventually. And they’re hungry when they wake up. These are four of the hibernating pests you absolutely don’t […]

Pests to Watch Out For This Winter

Pests to Watch Out For This Winter

Some pests hibernate, sure. Others fly somewhere warm, true. But what about the rest? There are a lot of pests, and unfortunately–for us, and them–they can’t all get away during the winter. But of course, like us, they have to do something to keep warm. Unfortunately, they have many of the ideas that we do… […]

The Winter Pest Preparation Checklist

The Winter Pest Preparation Checklist

The days are getting shorter. The wind is getting colder. Fall is upon us, and Midwestern falls are short. We’ve already written about anti-pest habits you could work on this fall, but those are long-term plans. Long-term plans don’t matter when you’re under siege! And make no mistake: we are under siege. Insects and rodents are […]

Testimonials

Cory (Plunkett’s tech) always goes the extra mile. Never complains and always has a great attitude! You better hang on to this one!

I’d like to compliment the heat treatment crew that treated my townhome. They did a great job exterminating the bed bugs and everyone kept me well informed. I have a number of other properties on contract that Jon McKusick (technician) services.  Am very pleased that Jon was quick to get the whole process started.
Dave S.
Please let (our technician) know he is doing a good job researching things for us. And he does a very good job dealing with our sensitive environment of guests and operations.

Recently, our county changed some things organizationally which made it harder for us to keep doing business with Plunkett’s.  But, we love Joe our technician so much, we created a separate account just to keep him as our tech!  Thanks so much for the great service.
Pete M.
While we were home in Chicago, Ray our Plunkett’s technician was out at our place in Cabo, WI and noticed our ceiling was dripping wet after a heavy rainstorm. He called to let me know, and then he took paper towels and wiped up the water from the floor, as well as hanging our wet rug to dry. This is emblematic to the way Ray approaches his job. He’s just a good guy! Ray is always enjoyable when he comes to do the service, and he adds value, making it worth the money we spend with Plunkett’s.

I look forward to seeing Gina (tech Gina Fritz) every spring. She is so pleasant, very kind, and a hard worker. People need to be complimented on good work they do!

We have been having pest bird issues and heard that Plunkett’s were the ones to call.  Jamie, your technician in our area, came and took care of the problem without harming any of the birds.  Jamie is great to work with and we are now a big fan of Plunkett’s. Because of that great service we will take every opportunity to pass your name along.  This is an excellent company with great service, effective methods, and good prices.

I called your office yesterday morning and spoke with Cathy. She was extremely nice and very helpful. I was so thankful that Cathy was able to schedule Stephen our tech to come out to my home to remove some catches. He was able to get to my house in 10 minutes!  I am blown away at his promptness. I am so scared of mice that I was sitting in my car while waiting for him to arrive.  He was very calm, explained what he was doing, and promised that I did not, in fact, need to move. I am very impre…

Am very impressed with the level of communication that was happening between (food processing client) personnel and Plunkett’s that was documented on the iPad.  I am also impressed how trends were sent out to personnel to know what was going on in the plant. It was one of the best levels of communication that I have seen as an auditor.

We still love Chad Dietz and his award winning A+ service. Thank You!
