On August 4th through 6th at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City, the Pest Control and Public Health Expo Mexico 2011 was held. This was a joint endeavor that was put together by pest control professionals, teachers, researchers and other industry leaders to talk about the future of the pest control industry, pest control in food safety, green pest control and the challenges and opportunities of vector control in Latin America. Our very own technical director Jay Bruesch was invited to speak at this event and held a couple of sessions about green pest control and integrated pest management. This event was attended by more than 950 people from many different countries, including the US, Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Argentina, Costa Rica and Israel.
