When you are done eating and drinking make sure to put the lid back on so that you are not leaving food out as a magnet for a potential stinging insect or ant problem. Second, protect yourself from pests by covering up with proper clothing that keeps the skin protected and maybe even an insect repellent if it is especially buggy out.
